WOW.

I am so incredibly grateful for my friends, my family, my husband, my children, and my community. What a fantastic first day of the market. I went in with very few expectations. Not low because I don't believe in myself, but intentionally not high. My general life philosophy is to hope for the best but prepare for less than that.

The other vendors in my general vicinity said that it was a slow day. It wasn't even their average. And I'm not sure what an average day is going to look like for me, so I have nothing to compare it to. There will be hugs and kisses. Patterns might not follow the same as others. But. I made nine sales, including some of my mom's jewelry. And I made over $650. I'm absolutely stoked.

I was up until midnight last night working on a bag that I never even took pictures of. It sold today. It was $110. One person bought two bags, and it wasn't someone I knew. I'm honestly just blown away. I felt so unprepared but I learned and have more information for next Wednesday.

I also need to paint more bags…
