Market Updates
Well, I intended on posting more blog updates. And I actually have a couple drafts sitting there… But…The last few weeks of working the market has been both brutal and extremely rewarding. Today was my fifth market day, and it was amazing. Every single day has been amazing so far, including the slow ones. But I've also been selling a large amount of bags, which has taken so much time to try to replenish. It's left me with very little to work on my website, do blog posts, or much of anything else. I haven't touched Minecraft in over a month 😆 But seriously. I wake up early, I paint bags. I take care of Nyssa. I paint while she pretends she's a frog, we sing a bit, count… she steals my paints. I leave the house to get her a car nap while I paint windows. I come home… I try to clean the house in a half hour before Bruce gets home. I go back to painting, after I find the paints Nys put in the spice drawer. We hang out downstairs for a while so the family still feels connected. We eat. I get her to bed. I paint more. Besides replenishment, I also have 3 commissions to do right now and they keep rolling in.
I think my most underestimated part of the market, besides my bag sales, is how much I would be changing my layout. Every day, every week… I do something different. I'm still not satisfied.
I'm figuring it all out though and trudging along.
